Welcome to Northallerton Riding Club
Northallerton Riding Club is one of the British Riding Clubs in the Area 4 region. The aim of the movement is to promote good riding and horse care at all levels of activity.
Membership consists of JUNIOR membership from 8 years old and SENIOR membership from 17 years old (ages taken as at 1 January).
NRC divides membership into four age groups for most activities:
- 8 to 10 years
- 11 to 13 years
- 14 - 16 years
- Seniors

Is your horse eligiable to compete - With our next area competition in February please read below to make sure you compete at the correct level -
NOVICE SHOW JUMPING - HORSE NOT TO HAVE ANY BSJA WINNINGS GAINED AT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BS INTRO 70 & 80 CM CLASSES. THE ANIMALS MUST NOT HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE FIRST 6 IN ANY BE 100 COMPETITION IN THE PREVIOUS OR CURRENT CALENDAR YEAR AT THE CLOSE OF PRELIM ENTRIES.
COMBINED TRAINING - NOVICE RIDERS MUST NOT HAVE ANY BD POINTS OR BS WINNINGS; INTERMEDIATE COMPETITORS CAN HAVE 1-124 BD POINTS AND UP TO £175 BS WINNINGS.
IN ADDITION PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PASSPORT IS CORRECT UNDER BRC RULES. ALL COMPETITORS ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT THIS AT THE EVENT FAILURE TO HAVE A CORRECTLY ENDORSED PASSPORT WILL RESULT IN ELIMINATION AND NOT BEING ABLE TO RIDE. ANY QUERIES OR DOUBTS SHOULD BE DIRECTED AT SUE HUTCHINSON REGARDING THIS ASAP BEFORE THE COMPETITION.
ANOTHER BRC RULE IS YOU MUST BE A MEMBER BEFORE THE COMPETITION SO IF YOU HAVENT PAID YOUR SUBS AND WANT TO COMPETE PLEASE GET YOUR SUBS INTO SUE DENNIS ASAP
